Frequently asked questions
Q: I have never played any sport and my experience is very low – can I still come?
A: Yes, you are welcome! Everyone is a beginner at some point – everyone is welcome, regardless of previous experience.
Q: I’m not sure I want to become a member, but I would like to try it out once or twice; is that possible?
A: Yes, we do not collect the membership fee the first time you play. Come and try it out – if you like it, join, and if you don’t like it – no harm done!
Q: Do I need to bring my own equipment?
A: For most sports you only need to bring sports clothes and shoes for indoor use, but for innebandy and badminton you need to bring your own clubs and rackets. If you do not have a racket or club, there is a good chance that another member is willing to lend you their spare – just ask in the facebook groups if someone has got an extra.
Q: How do I join?
A: Join the Facebook group for the sport you want to join, and get in contact with the responsible for that sport that way. If you don’t have Facebook, you can just show up outside the hall at the time of the practice and wait for the responsible to show up
Q: How do I get into the sports hall? A: You should be able to get into the part of the hall where the locker rooms are with your multi-card, and then the responsibles for each sport will open the hall and the equipment room.
Q: To whom do I pay my membership fee?
A: Each sport has 1 to 3 members who are responsible; find out who that is, and then pay to them. Swish is preferable, but cash is also fine.
Q: Is there a changing room?
A: Yes, there are changing rooms for men and women, and in the changing rooms there are showers and lockers – you need to bring your own lock if you want to use a locker though.
Q: Can I rent the hall for me and my friends?
A: Unfortunately not, but pick a sport that is played and bring your friends!
Q: I’ve got another question that I did not find the answer to – who can I ask?
A: Send an E-mail email@example.com
